With the news presented in this article, all the current Avenger books will meet their cancelation in April, which will coincide with the ending of Siege and the beginning of the so-called “Heroic Age.” With Mighty, New, Dark, and Avengers: Initiative ending, what does this mean for The Avengers franchise?

The most obvious thing will that there will be at least one new Avengers book relaunched in May with a new #1 and possibly a new title? But how many titles will the Avengers franchise carry in the future? Only time will tell.
